Jungle Creatures
These students were learning about animal habitats in science and we chose the rain forest for this project. Students first drew a tree with crayon, then created backgrounds using paint and torn tissue paper. They had to choose either warm or cool colors. Next they prepared patterned paste papers for their creatures and frames using contrasting colors. On cold winter days it's wonderful to be surrounded by such lively creatures!
